Chocolate sabayon with vanilla ice cream and banana
This variation on classic sabayon is, in fact, a luxurious banana split. It only takes a few minutes to make. And after some vigorous whisking you’ll be able to enjoy a delicious and unique dessert.
Ingredients (for 4 persons)
30 g Daskalidès Macondo 58% Cooking Chocolate
8 scoops of vanilla ice cream
1 dl of dry white wine
4 egg yolks
0.5 dl of marsala
100 g of sugar
Whisk the egg yolks, sugar, wine and Marsala over low heat until you obtain a smooth foam.
Melt the chocolate in the microwave and fold gently into the sabayon.
Slice the bananas. Serve two scoops of vanilla ice-cream in an ice-cream cup and decorate it with the banana slices. Top with the chocolate sabayon.
