Chocolate-covered figs with nut crumble
This delicious chocolate and hazelnut treat is simply irresistible. And easy to make too. The star of this overly delicious dessert is a sweet and crunchy fig.
Ingredients (for 6 persons)
200 g of Daskalidès Macondo 58% Cooking Chocolate
220 g of chocolate hazelnut spread
150 g of roasted hazelnuts, chopped
18 small fresh figs
Melt the chocolate in a heatproof bowl over a pan of simmering water (don’t let the bowl touch the water).
Remove the bowl from the warm water, and stir in the hazelnut spread until combined.
Spread the nuts on a plate. Dip each fig into the chocolate to coat two-thirds of the fruit. Roll the figs in the chopped hazelnuts.
Place the figs on a baking-paper lined tray and chill for 30 minutes, then serve. Enjoy!
